Our stance on AI is simple: NO.
- We love what we do and actually enjoy the work that goes into doing it

Going back in time a few weeks to show what the depths look like under a rain garden
I have always had the utmost respect for masons. Seeing these components come together brick by brick, with all the skill that Victor, Jason and Louis brought to the table was a real privilege. Shout out to Spengler Masonry!
We opted to build the structure for our kitchen and bar with brick rather than cultured stone and I`m glad we did. Just a few finishing touches left to do tomorrow and we`ll be ready to clean up and acid wash all this fine work.
Test fitting our 60" fire ring before brick inlay gets done. This allows us to make sure the gas line is in the right spot and to mark the concrete so our inlay pattern lines up perfectly. Whew, it fits!

Welcome to Husk.
Hi, I’m Daniel Hastings, Designer/Builder/Founder of Husk.
Husk is a design/build general contractor focused on residential building, remodeling and repair. Our clients rely on us for creative thinking, professional communication, and high quality work on everything from decks to new structures. Since opening 2019 we have completed over 250 projects, become A rated by the Better Business Bureau and become a certified pro contractor with trusted brands like Timbertech, Trex, Sylvanix and more.
I have a 30 year history in design, building and management and I am deeply inspired by the geography of the Pacific Northwest. I strive to bring a complimentary aesthetic into every project we do. I also ensure that we build for longevity, understanding that our work must withstand the pressures of our increasingly volatile environment.
Whether you’re planning a complete exterior remodel, looking at a new building or need an extensive repair, I think you’ll enjoy working with Husk. I look forward to hearing from you!
