Done with concrete! This will sit for a couple weeks or more before getting a final wash which will remove the white residue. In the meantime there`s plenty to do behind the scenes to prepare for our timber frame delivery, brick work, stormwater system, etc etc.

Forming up the patio, preparing to pour concrete this thurs. Its hot this week. Gonna be challenging for the masons to time everything just right, and finish the surface before concrete sets up. Its getting an exposed aggregate finish with lower borders and 2 circular areas which will eventually have brick inlays.
Heres a quick look at some building plans. Nothing crazy, and no AI. Just clean and accurate drawings and specs on paper - enough to cover the overall design and structural requirements so we can get permitted and start laying things out on the ground. As we begin to build I keep working on things like the kitchen and bar design, working out esthetic and functional details and working closely with the tradesmen that can spot potential problems so they can be addressed early.
